Swinging Sixties

The 60s was the theme for the DCM Midweek challenge. I have based my card on a dress design, though I'm not sure who it was by. The flower power style paper seemed to match. I tried to think of a witty greeting using the word model, but failed. Some of my pupils entered the fun, and suggested this one instead.

Inks : DI - black soot, computer generated text

Extras : images of Twiggy from the internet; black, red & yellow paper; flower paper from Provocraft; PM flower brads

oooh I love this. The colour blocking art/fashion link - was that a Mary Quant dress? I should know this from my Needlework/dress "A" level studies.....but I forget.

Anyway, it's a fab card, and very right for the challenge

Oooh, this is fabulous, perfect for the theme! I think the design may be Mary Quant? You've really captured the 60's feel with this.
