Well, stone the crows!

The Created ByHand theme this week is crows. I'm hoping this will pass for a crow, although some of you might shake your head and say it's something else. Perhaps a bird enthusiast will enlighten me!

I used the 'kiss' technique for the bird: inking up the bird, then stamping it onto a swirl stamp, then stamping it here. The swirl effect can be seen on the upper half of the bird, and amazingly gives it an eye!

Looks like a crow to me!! This is a great bg, too, with the branches and those subtle flowers. Nicely done!

OH! I love this.The background is wonderful..Looks like a crow to me.But then I think mine was a sparrow!! I just love everything about this..

Wow -thought you'd painted the crow (definitely looks like a crow to me) and painted that dark pit of an eye too. How sinister are these birds. Don't think I'll be entering cos they make me feel creepy. But with your lovely quotation and colours yours is looking very "chirpy".
