Blowing Bubbles

I've combined 2 challenges here. The Lots to Do theme is vintage, and the Gothic Arch site has an open theme.

I dyed the vintage ribbon with the Dusty Concord ink , which matched better than the original colour. To create the random bubbles I stamped using a pen lid. I would have liked to use a metal embellishment at the top, but had to make do with stamping.

Did you have to use a pen lid because you didn't have a round stamp LOL!!! This is lovely -you do vintage so beautifully. I've never tried vintage, but I like the Lots to Do challenge so will have to see if I can come up with something. Hope you have had a beautiful day. Oh - and we just heard that they cast Luke as the apprentice in "Peter Grimes" for the Grand Theatre in Geneva for next spring. We are very excited!!! The fact he is English mother tongue, but bi-lingual was a significant factor apparently as they wanted a boy who can react naturally to the opera.

This is lovely. Thanks for the info - I always wondered how people got the bubble effect! I enjoyed reading your blog (but it made me a little sad, don't know how I'll cope when mine leave home). Your altered boxes also are fab - gorgeous.
