I've been meaning to set aside some time to get the hang of adobe photoshop. After what seemed like several hours, this is what I achieved today. I have a lot to learn... Can anyone tell me how to make the background to text or stamped images invisible? These letters were typed on.
The background is the image given in this week's Art Creations challenge.

Amazing card.......
Great artwork Ros.!!!
Gorgeous, great image
Lovely lady and fabulous job.
This is gorgeous with the wonderful alphabet text. A beautiful piece.
Ros, I think I know but it's hard to explain. I think what you need to do is to change the opacity to zero. Go to the place that says window and select which part you want to make invisible. I think you can also go to the place along the top that says Layer, go down to arrange, and put what you don't want showing at the back of the stack of layers. Boy, this probably doesn't make any sense. Maybe Rian, Marie or Bev can explain it better.
What a original idea to add that alpha and that awesome ladie !
Realy well done Ross

Ros, this is gorgeous! Well balanced and I love the woman!
Ros, I love your interpretation of this challenge from a teachers perspective. How clever to use the alphabet in your design.I read your profile that you teach violin. I remember my son came home one day from school and announced that he wanted to play the violin.I never thought he would stick with it. He did. He ended up qualifying for the youth symphony orchestra in Colorado.I love any music that has violins.
Beautiful image and beautiful work.
