Chief Sitting Bull

The theme of Wednesday Stampers for this week is Wild West. As I have just finished reading The Last Report of Little No Horse, by Louise Erdrich, I felt I wanted to portray a native American in some way. Who better than Chief Sitting Bull, perhaps the most famous one of all?

Ribbon- topped recipe

The DCM midweek challenge is to use lots of ribbon again, this time with 4 eyelets, 3 circles and 2 rectangles. I think I've managed to include all of those. Apologies for the wonky scanning - it was too bulky to lie flat!

Imagine tag

I have taken up a challenge on 2Peas to stamp on anything other than paper. The colours have scanned quite dark on this plastic tag, but match the colours in the ribbon.

I've gone for a simple design for Isa's R challenge. There is a beautiful stamp by Stampington which I haven't got, so I tried to recreate my own version of it in miniature, including the colour red, set as an optional extra.

I wondered about using 'Ros' but don't know anyone of my name to send it to!

Bethlehem in ribbons

Oh goody! The latest DCM challenge entitled wrap it in ribbon for Christmas means I can use my Oxfam purchase again. Not traditional Christmas colours, but at least part of the original story is represented here.

Deck of Me, weeks 33 & 34

The prompt for week 33 was 10 minutes. Whatever art work was done was to take no longer this time.

It was a rush to make this in 10 minutes, and this was with a ready made background. God achieved creating the whole universe in 6 days - now I know why He needed a rest!

Green Fingers

The Gothic Arch challenge for this week was hands. I was really stuck with this theme, but Steve was gardening and then I had a eureka moment! As fingers are a part of the hand I have based my arch on them.
( I used an alternative model - his fingers were more brown than green!)
